A brokerage that runs itself needs infrastructure that runs itself. You will build the backbone that lets Kinro operate autonomously: cloud architecture, deployment systems, observability, data flows, and internal tooling that hold up without someone watching. This is a coding-heavy role for someone who can help a small team move quickly without compromising reliability, security, or simplicity.
What you'll do
- Design and own the infrastructure that runs Kinro in production, including cloud services, networking, data systems, and deployment pipelines.
- Build observability and reliability tooling so the system catches, reports, and recovers from its own failures.
- Strengthen our security posture across application infrastructure, secrets management, and customer integrations.
- Automate the operational work of running the company, so the team ships product instead of babysitting systems.
- Make sound architectural tradeoffs: choose systems that are simple, robust, and right-sized for our stage.
What we're looking for
- You have built and operated production infrastructure in a fast-moving startup or product environment.
- You are hands-on in code, not just configuration, and comfortable in TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar.
- You have strong judgment around cloud architecture, CI/CD, databases, queues, security boundaries, and failure modes.
- You automate by instinct: anything done manually twice becomes a system.
- You care about simplicity and know when extra infrastructure is justified and when it is unnecessary complexity.
Nice to have
- Experience with async job systems, event-driven architectures, or production ML infrastructure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and internal platform tooling.
- Experience in regulated environments or enterprise deployments.
