What type of work do you do?

What Google may review

Verification is more than buying a policy.

Google states that checks vary by category and location. The useful preparation work is making sure the same real business appears across every record the workflow asks you to submit.

Business identity

Business name, registration, address, and Google Business Profile information should describe the same operating company.

Licensing and screening

The checks shown in the account can include business, owner, license, and background information depending on category and location.

Insurance proof

When requested, submit current proof that matches the business and the coverage instructions displayed in the verification workflow.

Document consistency

A different name, address, policy status, or service scope can create questions even when each individual document is real.

Common questions

Google Verified readiness FAQ

Does Google Guaranteed require business insurance?

Google says verification varies by business category and location and may include an insurance check. When insurance is requested, the Local Services account shows the applicable requirement and upload step. Check the current instructions in your account rather than assuming one national limit applies everywhere.

What insurance document does Google Local Services request?

For North American insurance checks, Google identifies a valid Certificate of Insurance as the preferred proof. Its guidance says the document should show a policy number, meet the displayed coverage requirement, remain valid, and identify the business consistently.

Can Kinro make my business Google Guaranteed?

No company other than Google controls Google Verified or Google Guaranteed status. Kinro can help a business understand the insurance step, compare available coverage, and prepare current insurance information for the business to submit.

How long does Google Local Services verification take?

Timing varies with the category, location, and checks required. Google recommends starting early and following the status shown in the Local Services account. Fixing mismatched or expired documents before submission can reduce avoidable back-and-forth but does not guarantee a timeline.
